Krzysztof Wodiczko was born in 1943 in Warsaw, Poland. He was awarded the 1998 Hiroshima Prize, and his books include Critical Vehicles: Writings, Projects, Interviews (MIT), City of Refuge, and The Abolition of War (both Black Dog).
