About the author
Barbara Claire Freeman received the 2008 Discovery/Boston Review Poetry Award and the 2007 Campbell Corner Poetry Prize. She is the author of The Feminine Sublime: Gender and Excess in Women’s Fiction (University of California), and teaches creative writing for the Department of Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley.
