About the author
Meghan O’Rourke is the author of Halflife (W. W. Norton & Company). She was the recipient of the May Sarton Award for Poetry in 2008 and is an advisory editor of The Paris Review and a culture critic for Slate. Riverhead will publish her memoir about grief, The Long Goodbye, next year.
