About the author
Maiko Takeda is an accessory artist and designer. Starting from the simple question of what it would feel like to wear a cloud, the Atmospheric Reentry collection is a series of sculptural head/body pieces that blur the boundaries around the wearer. Work from the collection has been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The headpiece in this issue was worn by Björk on the cover of her Vulnicura album.
