Teju Cole

is a novelist, photographer, critic, curator, and the author of several books. He was the photography critic of the New York Times Magazine from 2015 until 2019. He is currently the Gore Vidal Professor of the Practice of Creative Writing at Harvard.

Rana Dasgupta

is a British novelist and essayist. He studied at Balliol College, Oxford and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His first novel, Tokyo Cancelled, appeared in 2005. Solo (2009) won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize. In 2014 he published Capital, a non-fiction account of the effects of globalization in the city of New Delhi.
