San Franciscans: celebrate the debuts of two APS contributors at City Lights this February. Sara Majka will read from her debut story collection, Cities I've Never Lived In (Graywolf Press and A Public Space Books, 2016). Joining her will be APS contributor Naomi Williams, whose debut novel Landfalls (FSG, 2015) was released last spring. Sara Majka
received graduate degrees from Umass-Amherst and Bennington College and was awarded a fellowship at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Her first book, Cities I've Never Lived In, was published by Graywolf Press / A Public Space in 2016. Her stories have previously appeared or are forthcoming in A Public Space, PEN America, Virginia Quarterly Review, and Guernica, among others. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island where she teaches writing at RISD.
