Tolstoy Together was inspired by the virtual book club Yiyun Li hosted with A Public Space to read War and Peace. Her daily reading journal appears in the book, alongside commentary from hundreds of fellow readers, including Garth Greenwell, Amitava Kumar, Sara Majka, Tom Drury, Alexandra Schwartz, Carl Phillips, and others.

Adrienne Celt is the author of Invitation to a Bonfire (Bloomsbury) and the forthcoming novel End of the World House (Simon and Schuster).

Thomas J. Kitson’s translation of Iliazd’s Rapture (Columbia University) won a Special Mention from the Read Russia Prize jury.
