Yiyun Li is the author of seven books, including Where Reasons End and Dear Friend, From My Life I Write to You in Your Life. Tolstoy Together was inspired by the virtual book club she hosted with A Public Space to read War and Peace. Her daily reading journal appears in the book, alongside commentary from hundreds of fellow readers, including Garth Greenwell, Amitava Kumar, Sara Majka, Tom Drury, Alexandra Schwartz, Carl Phillips, and others.

Garth Greenwell and Idra Novey have been hosts for #APStogether—our series of free, virtual book clubs—leading discussions respectively on Turn of the Screw by Henry James and The Little Hotel by Christina Stead. You can revisit their daily book-club conversations here and here. Garth Greenwell is the author most recently of Cleanless. Idra Novey is the author most recently of Those Who Knew.

A Public Space is an independent, non-profit publisher of the award-winning literary and arts magazine; and A Public Space Books. Since 2006, under the direction of founding editor Brigid Hughes the mission of A Public Space has been to seek out and support overlooked and unclassifiable work.
