Charles D'Ambrosio and Leslie Jamison will discuss compassion, empathy, and the art of the essay at the Brooklyn Public Library. D'Ambrosio is the author of many books, including The Dead Fish Museum, the title story of which ran in APS 01. His latest book, Loitering, is a collection of essays. Jamison is the author of The Empathy Exams, and has been a regular contributor to A Public Space since her fiction debut in APS 03. More information here.
