Join A Public Space editor Brigid Hughes in conversation with author Honor Moore at Shakespeare & Co. UWS to celebrate the release of Bette Howland's Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage, for which Honor Moore wrote an afterword; and which is the celebrated debut title from A Public Space Books (an "achingly beautiful book" by "a remarkable literary voice, rediscovered," from starred reviews in Kirkus and Publishers Weekly). Honor Moore
has been poet-in-residence at Wesleyan University and the University of Richmond, visiting professor at the Columbia School of the Arts, and three times the Visiting Distinguished Writer in the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The American Scholar, and many other journals and anthologies. For the Library of America, she edited Amy Lowell: Selected Poems and Poems from the Women’s Movement, an Oprah Summer Reading List pick.
