Alexander Chee

is a recipient of the 2003 Whiting Writers' award and author of the novel Edinburgh.

Roxane Gay

is the co-editor of PANK and the author, most recently, of Bad Feminist. In addition to A Public Space, her work has appeared in Best American Short Stories, Tin House, Virginia Quarterly Review, Salon, The Rumpus, and many others.
