Elliott Holt

was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and has lived in Moscow, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and New York. Her writing has been published in the New York Times, Slate, Time, VQR, Guernica, Kenyon Review online, The Millions, and elsewhere, and she has received a Pushcart Prize. Winner of a 2022 Creative Writing Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, Holt has also received support and fellowships from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Tin House Summer Workshop, Yaddo, and MacDowell.
