A Night with Emerging Writers
Sep
13
Thursday, September 13 | 7 p.m. A Public Space, 323 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217
A Public Space invites emerging writers to a reading and conversation about what to expect when starting out on the publication journey. Bring your questions and join APS managing editor Megan Cummins; 2018 A Public Space Fellows Deborah Taffa and Bruna Dantas Lobato; Center for Fiction Fellow and A Public Space reader Sidik Fofana; and Baffler editorial assistant and former A Public Space assistant editor Zach Webb as they discuss the opportunities and pitfalls that face new writers, as well as their experiences working closely with an editor. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask about ways new writers can find the connections they need to take the next steps in their careers.
Refreshments will be served.
Free and open to the public, and no RSVP required!
