A Celebration of Reading Together

An evening to celebrate the grand finale of Tolstoy Together, a year of reading with APS Together, and a look ahead to 2022 at A Public Space. Join us for a conversation with Yiyun Li, Carl Phillips, Marla Spivak, and friends, and to raise a toast to all our fellow readers. Register here.

Yiyun Li

is the author of seven books, including Where Reasons End, the winner of the PEN/Jean Stein Award; and the novel Must I Go, which will be published by Random House in July. She is the recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, Guggenheim Fellowship, and Windham-Campbell Prize, among other honors. A contributing editor to A Public Space, she teaches at Princeton University.

Carl Phillips

is the author of fifteen books of poems, most recently Pale Colors in a Tall Field (FSG). He teaches at Washington University in Saint Louis.

APS Together begins reading Charles Dickens’s novel Bleak House with Yiyun Li on Tuesday, October 14. We’ll read together for 48 days here, and finish the novel on Sunday, November 30.
