Annie Coggan | Drawing Stories

Online, Zoom Saturday, October 30, 2021

Join artist and designer Annie Coggan, the author of The Book of Errors, for a one-day workshop about visualizing spaces—and how the techniques and perspectives of an architectural drawing can help bring to life a fictional world. We will look at passages from Edith Wharton and other writers that describe interior spaces—and through creating our own series of freehand architectural drawings, explore how to visualize and interpret the spaces our characters inhabit and capture them on the page.

Annie Coggan is an artist, designer, and founder of Chairs and Buildings Studio. A professor in the School of Design at Pratt Institute, she is the author of The Book of Errors.
