About the author
Oak Morse was a 2024 Writing Fellow at A Public Space. His work has appeared in Poetry, Callaloo, Obsidian, Cream City Review, Black Warrior Review, Witness, and elsewhere. He has received support from PEN America and been awarded Cave Canem's Starshine and Clay Fellowship. He holds an MFA from Warren Wilson College, from which he received the 2025 Larry Levis Post-Graduate Award; and an MLIS from the University of Southern Mississippi. He lives in Fort Lauderdale.
