Ernest Thompson (1907–1971) was a union leader and civil-rights pioneer. A new edition of his book Homeboy Came to Orange: A Story of People’s Power, cowritten with his daughter Mindy Fullilove, will be published next year.


A Public Space is an independent nonprofit publisher of an eponymous award-winning literary, arts, and culture magazine, and APS Books.
