About the author
Fiona McCrae was the publisher and director of Graywolf Press from 1994 to 2022, and is a board member of the National Book Foundation and Orion. She cocreated an art book about her mother’s life for the exhibition For Real, For Real curated by Claudia Rankine and others at the daadgalerie in Berlin; and her work has also appeared in the eraser issue of the magazine Pencil, illustrated by Monica Larson.
