Bleak House with Yiyun Li

APS Together begins reading Charles Dickens’s novel Bleak House with Yiyun Li on Tuesday, October 14. We’ll read together for 48 days here, and finish the novel on Sunday, November 30.

Yiyun Li is the author, most recently, of Things in Nature Merely Grow, which is on the longlist for the 2025 National Book Award for Nonfiction; the story collection Wednesday’s Child; the novel The Book of Goose (all FSG); and Tolstoy Together: 85 Days of War and Peace (A Public Space Books). The recipient of a Windham-Campbell Prize and a MacArthur Fellowship, she teaches at Princeton University and is a contributing editor at A Public Space.
