Back and Forth: The Relationship Between Authors and Editors

is a journalist, editor, and critic. She is completing an MFA in nonfiction at Columbia University, fully funded by La Caixa Foundation. Before moving to New York, she lived in Barcelona, where she worked as a culture reporter for Ara and Núvol; and served as assistant editor at La Segona Perifèria. She is originally from La Cellera de Ter, a Catalan village not far from the Pyrenees.

Her work is in NPR, Audible, Prairie Schooner, the Undocupoets anthology Here to Stay, and elsewhere.

is a British writer and editor living in Brooklyn. His journalism has been published in BBC Radio, the Times Literary Supplement, and the London Magazine, and his fiction has appeared in Peripheries, Duck, and Arrowsmith. His book, Life Drawing and Other Stories, is due out with Staircase Books in late 2026.
