Anne Elliott

How can we use ekphrasis—the literary response to visual art—to generate narrative? In this six session workshop with Anne Elliott, participants will study artworks and methods for translating the art into fiction, memoir, or other narrative forms. Through imagination and creative practice, we will trigger associations and memories, acknowledge historical contexts, and face the abstract with the concrete. Register here. Sundays, November 7–December 12, on Zoom.
