About the author
Peter Trachtenberg is the author of Seven Tattoos: A Memoir in the Flesh (Crown). The Book of Calamities, an exploration of suffering and its narratives, will be published by Little, Brown in 2008. He has also performed his monologues at Dixon Place, PS 122, and The Kitchen.
